Pages arrive in the wrong order more often than anyone admits — a scan fed in backwards, a cover sheet that belongs at the front, a page that should never have been included. This shows you every page and lets you rearrange them.
Using Organize Pages, step by step

What goes in, and where it goes

- One PDF at a time. Every page is rendered as a thumbnail so you can see what you are moving; on documents over 300 pages the thumbnails are skipped and the pages are shown as numbers, which keeps a very long file from exhausting the tab.
- What you get back
- One PDF containing the pages you kept, in the order you put them. Each page keeps its own size, rotation and cropping, and the document keeps its title and bookmarks.
- Where your file is processed
- Organize Pages runs in your browser, and so does the page rendering — the thumbnails are drawn in this tab, not on a server. The file is never uploaded, and nothing is kept once you close the tab.
Common questions
Are my bookmarks kept?
Yes, along with the document’s title. This tool rearranges the document rather than rebuilding it, which is what preserves them — rebuilding is faster to write and quietly loses both. The one exception: a bookmark pointing at a page you delete has nothing left to point at, so it stops jumping anywhere. The rest keep working and the file is still valid.
Can I add a page from another PDF?
Not here — this tool only rearranges what is already in the file. To combine documents, use Merge PDF first, then come back and arrange the result.
Can I use the same page twice?
No. Each page can be moved or removed, but not duplicated. Reordering and duplicating are different jobs, and quietly allowing one while calling it the other would make the page count hard to predict.
Can I do this with the keyboard?
Yes. Every page has arrow buttons to move it earlier or later and a button to remove or restore it, all reachable by tabbing. Dragging is an alternative, not the only way in.
Does removing a page shrink the file?
Usually a little, but less than you might expect — removing a page removes the page, not necessarily everything it referenced, and shared resources like fonts stay. If size is the goal, run the result through Compress PDF.
